Celebrating Achievement
Simon Says Bereavement Fundraising 2026
We are proud to support Simon Says, a local charity that provides support to children and families who have experienced bereavement. As part of our commitment to wellbeing and mental health, we have been working towards becoming a Simon Says Champion School, helping to raise awareness of the importance of supporting those who are grieving.
As a whole school, we took part in a national game of Simon Says, joining many schools across Andover in a fun fundraising event. The money raised from this event was donated directly to the charity to help them continue their valuable work supporting children and families.
In addition, Mrs King, Miss Jones, Mrs McGilvery and Mrs Thorne represented our school in the Clarendon Marathon Relay, raising further funds to support our Simon Says work. The money raised will be used to develop a bereavement box for use within school, providing resources and support for children who may be coping with loss or bereavement.
We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and generosity shown by our pupils, staff and wider school community in supporting this important cause. Through our fundraising efforts and ongoing commitment to becoming a Champion School, we are helping to ensure that no child feels alone during difficult times.
