Andover Food Bank

Every year, during September, we have a Harvest Service in the church led by the children. All children bring a food or non- food donation which is then collected by the Andover Food Bank. This year, we donated 66.5kg of produce.

NSPCC

Children this year, had enormous fun dancing away in a whole school 'Dance-athon' to raise money for this very well known national charity. The music was loud, the singing along was astonishing and the dance moves left us all breathless with laughter. Prior to all the fun, staff from the charity came to explain what the funds might pay for and told some very poignant stories about children who are in a less fortunate position than our children. We do not yet have a final figure as funds are still being counted but we anticipate a good response. Thank you to all who contributed.

Silly Socks Fundraiser for the BVI Appeal

The children certainly arrived at school with a spring in their step sporting odd socks, brightly coloured socks, leg warmers, football socks, bed socks, decorated socks and many more!  Altogether an amount of £80 was raised for the British Virgin Islands Appeal with 100% of the donation going to the community in need.  Thank you for your support of this cause.

Piggles Trust December 2016

Children from Years 5 and 6 incorporated baking into their maths work during December and baked over 200 mince pies in aid of the Piggles Trust, a small, recently established, local charity. They raised over £60! And the pies were delicious! Thanks go to our parents for their support in buying the pies and to the children for their suggestion to support this charity.
